Part 1 is meant to refine the skill of the jerk, not necessarily to check how heavy you can go. You do want to feel weight, but go after fast movement more than a big number. Part 2 should be an cautiously aggressive pace. Stay focused on those high box jumps and be sure you get the feel of using your lower half/hips to the max on pull ups and HSPU.
