In 2014, I was a student athlete at Rockland Community College looking for a new outlet in fitness that was competitive, systematic, and fun. Little did I know after walking into Bison’s doors for the first time on March 30th of that year, I would get much more than that. I gained a community that I will forever be grateful for and has changed my approach to fitness forever. My years of dance and volleyball were coming to a close and I found something I could get after every day. CrossFit Bison came into my life at a very pivotal time as a college student because it sparked a passion for health, wellness and fitness. I was completely fascinated by the idea of meshing fitness, nutrition and healthcare all into one. I went on to graduate from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, and I am currently a Certified Athletic Trainer while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Pace University to be a Registered Dietitian.

As a Certified Athletic Trainer, I have a love for the human body, how it moves, and how I can prevent it from injury. I was drawn to CrossFit because it encompasses a functional approach to fitness that will prepare you for the constant variation life throws at you. One thing I strive to teach while I coach is to move well first before anything. CrossFit Bison and its awesome people have pushed me to become a better person, athlete, and now coach every single day.
